Camping
I had a wonderful time on my vacation. James and I headed out Friday afternoon to my brother’s house in Killeen. We stayed the night there and then drove out to the Guadalupe River near New Braunfels and set up camp. It was a community camping ground, so we shared the grounds with several other groups of campers, some nice and friendly, others loud and obnoxious. But it was nice. From the tent that James and I shared, we had a nice view of the Guadalupe River.
Even though James and I had our share of arguments in the five days we spent camping together, the thing I love most about our relationship is that we can never stay mad at each other for more than five minutes.
Now that I’m back home, I realize how much I love him and how much I value his companionship. I miss him already. We were together for five full days, and we haven’t been separated for more than five hours and I already miss him dearly. I desperately want to see him again.
Tomorrow is our one year anniversary; it’s hard for me to believe that I’ve dedicated one entire year of my life to a person, but I have, and I hope that we can continue to spend many more years together.
